The Peach Drop at Underground Atlanta has been canceled for the third year in a row. “In consultation with public health officials, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the Peach Drop,” Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said in a statement Tuesday.

Performances were scheduled by Atlanta hip-hop group Goodie Mob and Grammy Award winner Ashanti. For decades, thousands have gathered at Underground Atlanta to watch the Peach Drop. The event was moved for 2017 to Woodruff Park but returned to Underground Atlanta in 2018.
